A crew from Durham Highway was asked to help rescue a kitten who had been stuck in a tree for 36 hours. Once there, the cat was found to be 40' in the air and about 10' out on a branch. After trying food, and the waiting game, the kitten just managed to move further out on the thin limb. The plan then switched to a packing blanket duct taped to the end of a 12' pike pole. The Kitten named "Sassy" then climbed onto the blanket roll and brought down to her owner.
